This DevOps Cloud Engineer job offers you a monthly salary of €4.674 - €6.677, depending on your knowledge and experience.

Your impact as DevOps Cloud Engineer at NN

You will be joining the MijnNN team, a cross functional t-shared team, which plays a crucial role for the entire retail organization. The team is responsible for forward cache which is used by our customer portals (Mijn NN and the NN app). As a team, we are responsible for a no hassle experience in creating an account, logging in, showing the product possession of our customers and customer related mutations.

You will be working in our dutch department where we have about 5 million customers and we manage 1.7 million accounts.

Being T-shaped plays an important role in the team’s life. Therefore, you will be helping your colleagues to learn more about Ops and Cloud. You will take decisions about our cloud stack and will support the team to move to Cloud. You will continuously looking for improvements (i.e. make delivery process faster by automation).

Your responsibilities

• Support the team with advice in terms of cloud technologies
• Solve incidents
• Help the team creating/improving and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Set up and maintain the team’s monitoring and alerting mechanisms
• Act as a DevOps advocate

Who you are

An all-round devops engineer able to work comfortably on cloud (AWS) projects, we are looking for someone with the ability to develop high quality code and have high quality engineering standards, to be curious, and actively acquire new skills, new methods and processes to make our customers even happier. The ideal candidate has passion for technology and want to learn continuously and push the team to reach our common goals.

• 5 years of experience in cloud engineering
• Have experience with containers and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Know the DevOps lifecycle from infra, to building, to monitoring and operating a product
• Have experience with model system infrastructure in AWS (Terraform is nice to have)
• Have exposure to Security

Nice to have:

• Experience or willingness to learn java spring boot and VueJS/ReactJS
• Experience with Splunk
• Knowing Tibco BW/Tibco EMS
• Having exposure to web servers like Tomcat/Websphere
